The Larp City
Around 2007 I was roaming around the workshop at a youthcenter with a few kids, making up crazy ideas and laughing at and making bad jokes.
One of the crazy ideas the kids came up with, was the idea of us building a LARP fortification. 5 month later all permissions where given to us from the counsil and a colleague, the kids and me started building our crazy idea.
It was a great experience, being part of this crazy ideas journey to being a place, where epic foam-weapon-battles where won and lost. Sitting around the fireplace on cold winter evenings and hot summer afternoons, listening to tired kids telling about what the day had given them in victory and losses.
